In the beginning.....

In the beginning, there were no McDonalds, Burger Kings, or Dairy Queens calling out your name when you went somewhere. In the beginning, things like desk jobs didn't exist and everyone got to get out and get going. In the beginning, there were no cameras to capture just how bad you look from one side or another. Oh, and in the beginning, everyone wore those one-size-fits-all bag looking things that made everyone's bodies look the same.
Nowadays, things are different. Food is calling out our name from every direction, cars and desks keep us from moving, cameras find angles of your body you didn't know existed, and clothes don't look good in all sizes.
Like me, many hate the way they look and want to do something about it. I've found that the answer is dedication. If you can be a dedicated gym-rat, then sure more power to you. I've decided to be dedicated to being in control of my food. Everyone's seen the ANA pics out there, not quite what I'm looking for- but close. MIA allows me to control what food does to me, while still allowing me to happily give into those cravings for yummy food.
This blog is meant for support- for me and for others like me. Tips and Tricks for PRO MIA are welcome. I'll be sharing my daily stories, the ups, the downs, and the truth about my scale. As of today, I'm 180. I want to be lower than 150! Seeing as I got from 210 down to 165, I know I can do it. So..........here I go!
